The Damon Hill Karting Challenge returned for the 13^th year in a row, raising a record-breaking £43,000 for halow, the highest amount ever raised in the event's history.

We were delighted to welcome former Formula One World Champion Damon Hill, alongside racing driver Perry McCarthy. The day brought together motorsport enthusiasts, supporters, businesses and members of the halow community for a fantastic celebration of racing and fundraising.

For the second-year running, the ever-popular Champions Race returned, giving halow supported adults the chance to compete against each other.  

A special thank you goes to Clapham North MOT, who generously sponsored the Champions Race. Their support helped ensure that halow's supported adults could enjoy the event to its fullest.

F1: Chequered flag

Adding to the excitement, the BBC's Chequered Flag podcast was recorded live during the event, with Harry Benjamin and Becky Evans interviewing Damon Hill on all things F1.  

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Williams for their incredible support. Not only did they bring Damon Hill's iconic Formula One car for display, but they also donated a number of fantastic items to the live auction, which in turn helped raise £2,850 to support halow’s work.  

Our thanks also go to Moto Historics for their generosity in bringing a stunning Porsche for attendees to admire throughout the day. As well as our title sponsors Salone Events, GFM, Ignition, Barratt West London and Clapham North MOT.

Win the iconic MX-5

To make the day even more special, Clapham North MOT proudly displayed the Mazda MX-5 race car they have generously donated to halow.  

The car is now the star prize in our exciting prize draw, offering entrants a 1 in 800 chance of winning a certified race car for just £25.
