Gift in Wills
By leaving a gift to halow in your Will, you can help young people with learning disabilities and autism live fulfilling, independent lives for years to come.
Your legacy can help ensure that future generations continue to receive the support, opportunities, and community they deserve. Investing in the young people of the future could be the greatest gift you ever give.
Leaving a gift in your Will is a personal decision and there is no minimum amount.
Marion White Bursary Fund
In 2024, one of our long-standing supporters, Marion White gifted halow with a substantial sum of money in her Will.
We created the Marion White bursary fund in her memory so that we could make dreams come true. Through Marion White’s legacy we can offer adults with learning disabilities and autism the opportunity to travel abroad and experience the world at large. For many of the people we support, financial barriers, accessibility challenges and a lack of tailored support meant that travelling abroad was simply out of reach.
With this fund, we can use our expertise and knowledge to create tailored holidays so that the halow adults can travel abroad safely and comfortably.

Why your legacy matters
Gifts left in Wills play a vital role in sustaining halow’s work and ensure that we can continue providing life changing support to young people and their families.
A legacy gift can help to:
- Provide skills training and supported independence
- Fund social groups and wellbeing activities
- Create safe, supportive communities for young adults
- Ensure halow’s work continues for future generations
Many supporters choose to leave a gift because they believe in a fairer future and want their values to live on.
A gift that lasts a lifetime
There are several ways you can include halow in your Will. Your legal professional can advise on what is right for you, but common options include:
- A share of your estate (residuary gift)
This is a percentage of what remains after other gifts and expenses are taken care of.
- A fixed sum of money (pecuniary gift)
A specific amount that you choose.
- A specific gift
Such as property, shares, or another asset.
Any gift, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated and makes a meaningful difference.
