Volunteer With Us
Volunteers play a critical role to our success and our future.
halow relies on its team of volunteers who build relationships with our community of adults, to engage them in a wide range of activities.
We require no minimum time commitment or work experience and have a great range of opportunities to suit different schedules. Our volunteers include individuals, corporate groups, student placements (16+) and more.
Although our offices are based in Guildford, opportunities for their support arise all over Surrey.

We categorise our volunteering needs in four ways:
Learning Support Volunteers
Assist with halow's educational programmes that run during the weekday. You could be helping a young person to sail a riverboat one day to helping them to design a computer game another day.
Social activities Volunteers
Help with the many leisure activities organised for halow's young people such as bowling or youth groups.
Events Support Volunteers
Help with raising awareness and fundraising for halow in a variety of ways (evening, daytime and weekend events).
Office Support Volunteers
Help in the halow office with our friendly team. Tasks and dates vary, so please do enquire.
